- For 2010, Bishop Brian Thom designated December 5th as the date for Legacy Sunday. As in prior years, speakers will be organized to make a brief presentation in each church, drawing attention to the opportunity for planned gifts to sustain the ministry and mission of the church far into the future. This is an important annual reminder to each of us to include the church in our estate plans as a permanent, ongoing legacy.
- The Recognition Committee continues to honor new donors with personalized Bishop Rhea paper weights. Also, each donor is honored through the creation and display of Bishop Rhea plaques. The plaques list each parishoner who has given to the Fund, and are displayed in their respective parish halls. Preparation for the 2nd Annual Bishop's Banquet is under way. The gala event will be held April 2, 2011 at the Doubletree Riverside in Boise.
- This past year, the Executive Board embarked on a plan to examine the mission of each of the six committees, and consider how to make it flexible to keep up with the changing needs of the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Idaho. Each committee chair assessed the current and long range goals of their respective committees, and formulated a strategy for implementing them.
