History of Foundation

The Idaho Episcopal Foundation (IEF) was originally incorporated May 4, 1984 to administer a major bequest to the Episcopal Church in Idaho from Dr. John Moser of Cascade.  The first grants were awarded in 1985.  In 1987 the IEF Board of Directors adopted grant guidelines which provided for a yearly regular grant cycle.  On March 1, 1997 the IEF Board of Directors adopted Revised and Restated Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws to initiate the expanded mission of the Foundation.  The current Mission Statement was adopted at a planning session of the Board of Directors on May 3, 1997.
